The Pyre King

Frayne is certain that other than the family he has created for himself, no one can be trusted. The queen wants his mother gone, the Circle want the witches dead and he has no real idea what the King wants.

Despite the king helping to save Nelda, he still seems determined to lock them away. And they appear to be in far more danger than they are a danger to the kingdom. No one is who they appear to be, and darkness is hiding in the centre of the kingdom.

It appears that the monks trying to find a way to stop the witches, might have just stumbled on a way to do that, and Nelda might be the first victim, struggling to find her flame.

As Sunsong is plunged into an unnatural night, something dark and magical puts everyone inside at risk. If someone found a way to steal magic, what might they do with it and to anyone trying to stop them?
